Is the stock radio a double DIN or a 1.5 DIN? I thought it was double but they look huge!

depends on the radio type. most have a single din with a cubby underneath while other models came with a double din radio. Mine came factory with a single din radio with a cubby underneath. I have seen in some GSTs a double din radio. The aftermarket radio install kits for our cars come with a cubby to install with an aftermarket radio.

Ok so the ones without the cubby are 2 DIN and a 2 DIN will fit the factory radio bezel? Thanks!

The stock opening is a 2DIN opening. You can use either a 1Din radio with a cubby or filler plate or a 2Din unit. plenty of room
