i was trying to change out the bulbs on my stock fog lights (98 gs), and i saw in the manual that they say to loosen the big phillips screw that mounts them to the frame it looks like. well i tried that and promtly stripped the head. i dont know how in the hell the factory got it that tight. unless they put some tread lock on it. so i took it to the dealer ship ( still had a 30 camax "we will fix anything for free warranty" ) and i was going to act like i just wanted them to fix it. but the guy said i didnt have to undo that screw, all you have to do is takeoff the front lens to get at the bulb. so i tried that but it didnt work. what do you guys think.

you have to pull the whole unit out with that one screw on the side. if its stripped then go to any mechanic and the'll get it off for you, then have them put a bolt in place of the screw so you'lll never strip it again.
same thing happened to me.
