Hello All,
I need help. Does anyone know where I could get a key for my 95 GS. Lost all my keys over the weekend, and i do not have a spare. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

Yep, I just had this done as well. I had cleaned out another car so my brother could use it to go to Indianapolis to visit my sister and I put all the stuff into a box, including the keys to my car (my plates were expired so I couldn't drive it). Well, my dad thought the box was trash and he put it on the burn pile. FYI, your only car key and a massive fire do not mix well. So I called the dealership and they said I could come in the next day and they'd cut me a new one, no problem.

Cost $12 and they had it done in about 5 min. You have to have you're registration though, I forgot mine at home and had to have my brother fax it in. All they need is your vin #, but you have to be able to prove ownership or they can't legally cut you a key.

I was surprised they could still do this for a car as old as mine (95) but it was no problem. I was even more surprised it was so inexpensive. I figured they had me by the balls and could charge what they wanted. You'll want to call ahead though, the first time I called they were out of the right keys, so I had to wait till the next day.

My build: verttuner.com (hosted on my blog)

At least I have never been charged for it at the Mitsu or Dodge dealer.

Yeah but for Home Depot to do that, they need the original.

and they never work because copying a worn key pretty much guarantees failure

When I had my honda I had a spare key made from my vin # they didnt want to use my copy for the fact mentioned above worn keys make bad copys. I just had my eclipse key copied because it was bent and my copy wont work for shit. So I am going to go up to the dealership for a good copy.
