Whats up 2GNT! I got the same problem as Darkone, Super20G, Star Turbo & many others. My show car has been having intermittent problems starting for no appararent reason. I traced it down to the switch, and when I was checking out for tutorials on switch R&R I stumbled upon the threads. I have an easy question, can any one post links with diagrams parts & tools needed to install a kill switch & push button start that completely bypasses the motherf#@&ing switch all together.

Darkone, you are really active on these issues, maybe you could PM or email me some tips on how you wired yours?

There is nothing worse than going to a show or getting gas and having to ask someone to jumper you.........................................................................

Its easy. Get a 2 button push start button from AutoZone ($8). Run wire from one side of the push button to the battery positive terminal and the other side of the push button to the starter and your done.

the lighter is a good spot for the push start as for the kill switch below the dash above the gas pedal close to center console, so your knee don't hit it. Some might use the xtra space below the head unit
