lol our cars have a hard ass huh? i've been rear-ended 3 or 4 times now (coutning today) and only minor scratches on the bumper cover. nothing structural. the other car was always more messed up than mine.

Our fronts aren't too bad either. I've rear ended two cars and hit a mailbox (not just any old mailbox either, one of those big metal ones thats like for an entire townhome complex... yea it was icy ok) and all i have is scratches. I hit one of those cars real hard too, his bumper was hanging off.

oh yeah, and none of this is on my driving record. Pretty sweet huh. I got real lucky and they turned out to not be my fault.

Yeah, the rear bumper is a boat anchor. I've been hit and backed into someone once and there was no damage other than scratched paint.

Yeah the fronts are sturdy too. My dumbass sister backed straight into the front of my car(apparently here mirrors must not work) and it was loud enough for me to hear it up stairs and all that was damaged was the license plate frame lol

I was rear ended by a Dodge Ram hard enough to knock my shades off my head, into the windshield and back into my lap. I've never bothered with getting it repaired. You have to be within six inches of the paint, looking at it just right to see anything. emoji

Omg! One time there was stop and go rush hour traffic, and the dude behind me wasn't paying attention and rear ended me at about 10 mph, knocked the shit out of me, and I was expecting the rear end to be smashed in. I got out of my car in the middle of the road (didn't have a place to pull over) pissed as hell, and I could find a scratch!!! I was so f'kin baffled, the guy was out of his car looking at me looking around at my car, and I just got back in my car and drove off.

I would have to agree, my friend back into me with his Lexus and nothing happened, just some paint scratched...buffed right out. I think a 99 Cougar has the strongest front bumper on earth though. My girlfriend hit the side of a Caravan in a round about, the whole side door and front door of the van was smashed way in...the cougars bumper just got the paint off. I don't see how it was possible.
