I'm suspecting its your thermostat. Remove the 2 bolts from the housing where the upper radiator hose goes to. Inspect and replace your thermostat.

Another vote for thermostat. Before you remove it, and while the engine is cold, remove your radiator cap and check the level of your antifreeze/coolant. It should be pretty much up to the bottom of the filler neck or so. If you can see the thermostat sticking up out of the coolant, you should pick up a jug of fresh stuff before you get started so you can top the system off.

I am having the same problem in my 96RS. I tried the thermostat, and still no luck, blows fine, AC works, but not the heat. Car heats fine and the system is pressurized, I cant find any leaks.
Any other ideas?

Sean

When I bought my RS new in 97 the heat did not work, I took it back to the dealer and they said a clip came off of the cable that that turned on the heat. Now my GSX blows heat all the time emoji

When you take off the radiator cap, how close is the water to the top of the neck?

Thermostat was changed, and the coolent levels are fine.

No work has been done on the car to make the heat stop working, it just kinda stopped.

Where is this clip you guys are talking about? Should I try to flush the system to unclog the heater core or do I need to change it?
