My drivers said window shakes and rattles if its not all the way up. If its all the way down, I can hear it slightly when I hit bumps, and its pretty loud when I close my door. I took the door panel off, but there was a big plastic piece covering everything, and I didnt want to take it off cause it had gooey stuff all around it. Can someone help me out?

I don't know how many times I've taken my door apart and tightened things up in there to make that sound go away. I just learned to live with it.

If anyone else has any advice, I'd be glad to hear it.. emoji

One of my friends from work has a neon with the same problem. He took his door panel off, and took a close look at the tracks that the windows are in, and noticed that a piece of plastic is broken. I think it was a part of the track, or maybe something that keeps the window in the track.... I'm not sure. I haven't looked at mine yet, because every day I have off lately, it's been raining!!

The Plastic thingy just makes sure the wind doesn't go into the door, if you take off the plastic part with the black stuff around it, you can easily put it back on, it resticks itself back to the surface. If by chance you leave it off prepare for whistling sounds as well as it will cause more wind to go into your doors thus slowing you down. Overtime some of the bolts may have loosen causing and caused your window to rattle. Just try tightening all of your bolts it took me 10 mins and my door doesn't sound as bad as it used too.

If you take the door panel off and roll the window down....look down in from the top of the car and you will see 3 lil felt covered things pressing against the window. Look inside the door and you will see where you can tighten them up a bit. Those are what puts Hope that helps.....
