I posted this on DSMtalk, but I also wanted to get it posted up here. On account of my laziness, Im mostly copying and pasting what I posted there emoji

Well since the car show was cancelled yesterday, and my car is still all perty, I figured Id see what some other DSMers thought of my whip. That and I really havent had a rundown post on my car yet.

1995 Eclipse GS
My daily driver with 158,000 (it will see 200,000 +)
2Gb front end conv.
Black Headliner
Tinted windows (5% fronts, 2.5% quarters, tinted myself)
Cold Air Intake
OBX header
Magnaflow Cat
Borla Exhaust, full 2.5"
F1 Clutch
MSD Ignition

Fastest 1/4 yet: 16.9 with a shitty launch :o

Mods to come this winter:
55mm TB
UDP
Crower stage 2 cams
Possibly Cam gears
Some brand of struts and springs to drop about an inch (suggestions?)
GST wheels mounted/balanced

Thats pretty much all I can think of for now. Let me know what you guys think of it. As of Sept. 19th I will have owned this car, my first DSM, for one year.

Thanks guys. The only parts I had painted recently are the front bumper, new hood, and repainted ground effects. In different lights you can tell the slight difference but its better than the rust hole that was in the hood before. Its changed alot since I got it, and I definately like it alot more now.

I got it at a local paint store called "Lake City Paint". And yes it is stock color. I just cross referenced my paint code (A-52, minden silver pearl) to DuPonts codes, she mixed it up on the spot for me. Came out pretty good I think. There is a chart on DSM-tuners I believe that references all the paint codes to dupont and a few other paint manufacturers.

Wow, very clean and nice. How nice is the unibody (rust)? Ever had the vinyl top off or inspected for rotting around the drip rails? If not, try to do that so you dont get surprised one day. Only downside to vinyl tops is the damage they hide.

Numbers matching? 12 bolt rear end?

Its a nice Z.keep it that way.

Youre about to be upset with my Dad. I know I am. He doesnt keep it in storage anymore, so It sits outside in all the elements. It is starting to rust pretty bad on the door and hood. And you can notice a little bit of rust bubble underneath the vinyl top. But yeah it was an all original Z with a "350 turbo-fire", Hurst 4 speed, and 12 bolt rear end.
