I got the car detailed the other day, and I went to fix the water leak.
It always leaked in the passenger side rear seat and the passenger side floor.
Saw a few drops from the vent, so I siliconed all around the vent and the yellow tabs.
Though I was done until it rained last night, and noticed I had more drippage.
So I hunted EVERYWHERE for half hour today. Not the hatch gasket, drain tubes, spoiler, etc. Its the filler neck.
So I took off the retaining ring around the neck, and siliconed all around the neck and bolt holes. Then put silicone on the retaining ring itself and put it back together. I put silicone on the back of the door bolts. I siliconed where the indention meets the body.
Can anyone think of where else this could leak? Check the latch too, dry as a bone with water squirted directly on it.

I had a leak in the same spot a couple years ago, my rear passenger seat would always get wet when it rained. Everything looked fine, like you said, the drainage tubes, etc. It actually ended up being the seam above the passenger side taillight. It's kind of hard to explain where it is, but if you open the hatch, its kind of where the back panel and the side panel meets, directly above the taillight. I filled it with some urethane caulk, and no leaks since!
I'll try to get some pics of it soon to show you what I'm talking about.

Ive actually declared mine fixed. I hosed that entire side of the car for twenty minutes, then washed it. And it rained for three hours yesterday.
Im completely dry inside!
Im excited, I feel like a kid again!
What I did:
Unbolt the three bolts around the fuel cap. Knock the retaining ring loose (the metal circle with a flat edge) and silicone all around that then run a bead of silicone around the actual fuel neck. Bolt everything back up.
Then run a small amount of silicone with your finger around the seam where the body and recess for the fuel cap is.
