#100835, "Anyone wanna' take a Shot at what these are?"

So I just installed my New Halos I got a while back. I have these two Extra wires coming out from the Housing and they don't seem to go to anything. Everything works just from plugging them in. Anyone know where they might go to or what they're used for? Or COULD be used for? Also.. When I was removing my Front Bumper, the Bolts used to connect the Bumper to the Fender were COMPLETELY rusted and broke in half.. How can I get the left over bit that's stuck in the hole out? Thanks a lot guys.

Those wires are for the Halo ring.

For the broken bolt, you can do a few things:

1. drill and retap it.
2. make new holes and use new bolts/nuts.
3. drill it and use an extractor to remove the bolt (a little heat will help with getting it out too)

So let me get this straight. I'm slightly retarded. Haha no. But when you put your lights on the first click.. Your halos and side markers come on. Then low beams your headlights come on.. Then of course you have high beams next. Right?

Correct, but your Halo's will also come on when your low beams are on as well.

If you tie into the side marker lenses, your 'power' aka red wire from the headlamp, will go to the green/white stripe wires on the side markers and then the other wire just ground somewhere.

or if your really cool, you just take both halos and run them to a toggle switch so you can let them on in the parking lot, so you can really stand out. Lol, maybe it's just the kids in my area.

Ok. Thanks everyone for the tips. I just did what Foggy said.. Spliced in the two red wires to the Side Marker lights. That worked perfectly. The only thing bothering me now is that I ordered White Halos.. and these are sorta' looking Blue. Haha. Eh, whatever. As far as the Front Bumper goes.. I'm hoping to order a Stillen Front soon.. Then I'll just drill out the old bolts so everything will be good. Thanks again. I'm sure I'll be asking a bunch more questions as time moves on.

the halos are just LED powered so you get the led's you want and take the housing apart and install the new ones emoji

That is the nature of 95% of the white LEDs out there. They will have a slight blue look to them. Warm white LEDs are becoming available but for now most white LEDs have a "fluorescent shop light" kind of hue to them.

Changing the LEDs is a PIA since you have to bake the housings in the oven in order to pull the lens off and get to the halos.
