Its hard to explane, but im not sure how to take of the like round bolt things. Like the part that bolts the seats to the car, i cant get thoes off. Do i have to cut and weld them? or is there a trick to do it. thanks.
Thank you mobil one for rust proofing my driveway.

If your talking about the brackets off of the stock seats, are you sure they will work with the after market seats? i saw a 2g at a car show with aftermarket seats and the stock brackets fabbed on and my head was almost touching the head liner (im 5'11)

I tried the same thing man, and it's not worth it. I had to take a grinder to chop it off, and then it sat too high.
Just go out, get a couple flat pieces of steel. Tap holes to line up with your stock holes in the floor, then weld the sliders to the two steel pieces (1 for front and 1 for back).
Doesn't need to be anything crazy. Mine are small welds. A grinder will probably separate them fairly easily (I hope, since I sold the seat to a guy with an MX-6), but they're solid in the car, and it keeps the seat nice and low.
With the stock brackets, you're going to raise your seat 2-3" off the floor, and it's a lot more work.
