#100369, "Pics of the re-installed dash, and new rims/wingless exterior"

I did the dash and console with duplicolor gloss black, and 2 coats of clear. looks real nice and shiny for now. The rims i got used from 95eclipse420a but they look good.

** Current status: 9 bent valves. and it only had 6,000 miles on it. i hope the replacement goes well. **

Lots of expensive parts, and still slow! Oh wait, it has to run to go fast.

HA, Yeah, those USED to be my rims. LOL They definately look better on your car than they did on my white car. Much better without the wing too.

I would suggest getting sun shield/blocker for your windshield. Otherwise its going to fade and chip/peel away after a year.

After summer, your going to kick your self in the ass for painting your dashboard.

Its going to peel and fade like ^^^^ said above. Looks good now, but enjoy it while it lasts.

Trust me, been there - done that.

Just buy an OE black dash off of ebay.

Agreed. A black dash isn't that hard to find, I traded a set of projector headlights to get mine w/console and any other parts I wanted.
What kind of rims are those? I think I've got the same ones(also bought them used), Katanas, but I see them around on other cars with different names. I haven't put them on yet, I don't really know anything about them.

I've had issues trying to find a black dash. Everyone jumps on them as soon as they come available, or owners don't want to part just the dash (although I've offered trades).

Anyway, looks decent, but a bit shiny. I found this paint at Home Hardware... Krylon Fusion, in black, and it sticks to anything. No primer needed, just clean up the surface and have at it. Works well, and without that high-gloss shine (If you like the shine, that's fine, but I personally don't like it).

Not a proper picture of the dash or anything, but that's from an old for sale ad for my racing seat, and you can see the center console painted with that Krylon Fusion stuff. Pretty awesome for a $10 can of spray paint.

I asked that above then figured it out on my own. Yeah I think there are a lot of knock-offs of them out there. They look good on your car, mine are going on in the spring.
