im gonna take off my fog light glass to clean it up because it is all dirty, and i have heard that you can use brake cleaner fluid to clean them, and that they would look like new!!! is this true??? some advise would be apreciated!

I don't see any issue with using brake cleaner on them. As far as them looking like new, I think that would depend on their condition. Are you talking about 2ga or 2gb fog lights?
for real tough stuff, i use it straight from the concentrate bottle (same product just avaliable in a concentrate)
if the glass has too many rock chips in it, you might be better off replacing them if you want them to look nice.
there are a few companies that make "Headlight Protectant Film" that you can get for generic / universal application. when that gets marked up you peal it off and add a new one.

the 2GB's are more like a std set of projectors with a lens and a plastic shroud. however they can be disasembled.
i guess if you disassembled them and just cleaned the lens with brake cleaner then you would be fine. i just assumed that he would be doing this while it was on the car, and i had bad images of it trashing the paint on the front bumper hence why i recomended my product.

ohhh, no dude, dont worry i will take it off and be really carefull with the paint, i already disasembled the passenger side one, so i know how to do it, and i only need the glass, i will do it off the car, i dont wanna ruin the paint.

thanks for answering dudes! i am talking about the 2gb fog lights, i am getting my car painted and i already did the simple rewire to have the fog lights on with the rear lights only, and now i want them to look nice!
that product that you posted, am i able to find it in a store?? if yes, autozone, pepboys?

not at pepboys try your local professional paint supply places that deal with meguiars, they should be able to get you there whole line.
