what size tires are you guys running?

i was thinking of either a 225/45 or a 235/40.

I am leaning more towards the 45 though because I want some more meat up front now. I think it would be okay since I will be using a 17x7 rim.

I have 225/45 only because Nitto drag radial doesnt come in 235. I had 235/45 on my last set of rims with no issues.

You might wanna checkout your local WALMART. They those 45's at a decent price and they the Goodyear Eagle f1 The V pattern forget which model but they look very aggressive. I saw them at the counter in the auto DEPT. the other day.

215/45. IMO, the brand/model of the tire makes more difference then that extra centimeter of tread width

I have a 19x7 up front now and I am using 235/35's no problem.

I am going to do a 17x7 wheel up front with a 225/45/17 tire
and in the rear a 18x8 rim with a 245/40/18 tire.
