#82967, "headliner question"

I have the black and grey interior and my headliner is a light tan or an ivory kind of color. It's definately not the tan one. Is this what goes with that color interior? It just looks wierd and out of place.

I was thinking of the same thing. My interior is gray, but my headliner is light tan-ish color.

Mitsubishi is famous for that trait in their cars...yes that is normal. I have no idea why they do that, but what I did was go to a fabric store and buy some headliner material. Fabric stores actually carry the same material that is used in your car now. Just ask the people at the store where the headliner material is. While you are there pick yourself up some 3M spray adhesive and you are good to go. I did mine black like 3 years ago and it still looks great.

here is a link to a write up as well... http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=7&topic_id=35418&mesg_id=35418&listing_type=search

Hope this helps!

does anyone have any color other than tan stock? i have a full grey int, and my lil bro had black/gry and both of ours were the tannish color. i have always wanted to swap up to a grey or black. i too never understood why they did that. they made the headliner, the holy ish handle, and the top trim peice of the hatch that same tan/ivory color. dont make a whole hell lotta sense.

The lighter color on top is probably supposed to make it feel not so cramped.
