Oh dear god......why in all that is holy did you choose that color. Fuck, i think the color of our old work trucks was bad with them being painted "baby shit green." Please tell me there is not god damned flake in it. It would look just like one big gay Easter Egg.

Remind me to slap the ever living shit out of you then slap your wife for allowing you to do it! You dont deserve the snap on logo that your tool box wears, in fact you deserve husky or some other shit brand.

Let the blind man down the street pick out the color next month please.

Vents are still crooked!

Eh, actual paint job looks nice. You finally learned how to use that rattle can.

Your a retard Terry, lol. That is not the color I picked. That is a base coat, then a color of Kandy is being layed over top of that.

You must not have known that if you lay a different color of base down before another color that it can drasticly change the color you lay over it, hense why I am using a gold base, to change a color completely that goes over that.

Wow.

edit: I never touched the vents either because I dont mind how they look.

Yea they are not show quality perfectly straight, but the more and more I looked at it and got other opinions, they didnt look that bad to me or I would have fixed them when I molded them in the first place.

Well, here she is...

Phase 4: Applying the Kandy color. The color is House of Kolor Kandy Tangerine. This took 3 coats to get on even and spread properly since Kandy is EXTREMELY thin and transparent.

http://imageshack.us>>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>

Phase 5: Unmasked everything and retaped everything off again for Clear Coat. I personally like doing this because sometimes the paint buildup on the plastic will flake off when you keep spraying over it. So the car was masked off again and was hit with four medium coats of House of Kolor Kosmic Klear. This is the first time I used this clear, and I must say, it is the best that I have ever used and will continue to reuse this stuff. It was very easy to lay down.

http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>

And she is finally unmasked and the finished product. Now, she is not done yet fully. I will get to wetsanding and buffing the whole car about a week from today. Next week, I will shoot both the doors, the front bumper and the hood and it will be complete. Sorry for all the dust nibs on my camera lense!

http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>
http://imageshack.us>

And I dont think I like the red tail light on the orange, so I think i am going to spray a real light coat of NiteShade over all 3 tail lights, I think that will look nice.

http://imageshack.us>

P.S. I will get some pics of it tomorrow outside in the sunlight so everyone can see what it really looks like!

Can you send me the Harley parts? Like, you would probably want the fenders and tank shot right?

Let me see if I can get this guy I know to shoot it with crushed glass first. If i can convince him then i will make plans in the late summer to wrap it up and send it your way. Its only 2 tanks, rear fender and a cover panel that goes between the tanks.

That color is beautiful Mike, but you should have done the top part of the car the same color as well. Would have looked 10x better imo.

Okay Okay, here is what I did to the rear. Before pic below and after pic right above this. I shaved off the little things and I also filled in the grooves going along the sides of the rear by the wheel kind of...I think it looks a lot better now.

Looks good.

Needs 19's and wheel spacers. I want to see some tire extending past the fenders/quarter panels!

I love that color, have always loved that color and will always love that color. Granted, no two cars i've seen have the same tint. I love yours though. It's bright and has a deeper, red color vs some that are more on the orange end of the spectrum....

Can't wait for the ripper vid.

Goodnight sweetheart...yes its time to go...bum bum bum bum bum...good night sweetheart yes I am one little a$$hole......bum bum bum bum....

I am actually going to pick up some spacers today when I head up to Summit Racing to pick up some Niteshade for my tail lights. I dont want the wheels being right on the edge though, because if I hit a large bump like we have here in Ohio, and that tire meets the fender or quarter panel, that fiberglass would be bye bye. I am going to get some 1/4" spacers for the rear and some 1/8" spacers for up front and call it a day.

Also, I had 19's on it last year and went new this year with 17" up front and 18" in the rear. The 19's were too big and too heavy and a nice set of tires to grip good for my beast were way too pricey and not enough meat on them for a 19 inch rim.

And yes you are right, every car's tint of the color is different. I choose to add more layer of Kandy down to make it more darker/red'ish like you said instead of the bright ass orange. I absolutely love how it came out. I cannot wait to spray the doors and bumper next weekend and get it all back together again

excellent color and overall work done on your dsm. If you had a CF hatch wingless would look even better. Looks alot better than the 4g eclipses, I see in ohio. Now you have have to update your video from streetfire.net I saw you had a green metalic flake with a sick Flame job on your CF hood. Question are you gonna add same type of Flame pin strips with your paint job, and are your running higher than 26 psi. Hows your car running at the time as a DD around OHIO. Every once in awhile I see a darkgray eclipse pass my work, Just tonight after work that guy did drive I heard his blow off valve while was getting gas. That made me smile, excited wanting to turbo my car.

I'll add 5 to it but its going towards this site right? Kidding but will doanate though after everything is caught up this month

I have to agree, it looks amazing in the sunlight. I think the rear bumper looks 20x better with everything shaved too. Very nice job.

Thank you.

I was looking at my front bumper today before hitting it with primer and I dont know if I like the 2g marker lights in the sides or not.

I am thinking about just shaving those completely off as well.
