just spend the extra couple hundred for one made by a reputable DSM vendor.
Can't go wrong with tried and true parts.

Then I would wait and save more $. FMIC aren't just a normal generic part. With a FMIC, you get what you pay for. Don't skimp. Not only will you be unhappy with a shoddy part, but you'll end up spending double when you have to replace it.

This is my stance on any vendor that sells on Ebay: They target Ebay buyers because ebay performance parts buyers generally are terribly uneducated about their cars and don't know the difference between a good part and their part. If they really were a good vendor with high quality parts, they's have a website and storefront only. They'd build a reputation that way. I have never heard of a wonderful experience when buying specialized performance parts off of Ebay.

It's running again shitheads.

Actually, alot of people have that kit and love it, just fyi. They had a huge post on dsmtalk a while back about how one guy went to that shop and was amazed at the equipment they had and how organized everything was. They've been making IC's for a really long time and supposedly the JR guy is very educated about IC's. He uses that same IC(a little bigger) in his 1000hp 300zx.

Personally, from the pages and pages i've read about it, i would consider buying it. It comes with short route piping which is great and it still allows you to keep the bumper support without any cutting. My goal for this car is 300hp, and i spoke to Robert at FP, and he said if thats really all you want, the HRC FMIC might be overkill. He actually suggested the Greddy 24R, but id only consider that if i got a great deal on a used one. With that said, this kit looks pretty good for my goals.

If it's reputable, fantastic and I rescind my previous statement, but I personally won't use Ebay as a parts source. The risk is generally far too great for the potential reward.
If this is reputable, then go for it. I just am very cautious by nature and have seen far too many "great deals" turn out to be garbage.

i have purchased a few parts off ebay (no non-name brands though) and i am always pleased. like he said, they have the short piping and you can get it so you can put the gm maf in there easily, which i want to do. do you have a link to that post Dirk?

but as i was asking before. how good is 650 cfm?

About 1/2 of the Buschur Race Core.

It's adequate for a medium sized turbo with no worries of heat-soak. Anything really big will just make it a $700 grill piece.
