Has anyone here had a hard time getting their oil pump gear off? People I've talked to said theirs just slid off with a little manual persuasion. Mine is stuck, and there arent any bolt holes or space behind the gear to use a puller. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

91 awd: 60-1, 880's, E-Prom, etc.
93 awd: JDM 6 bolt, K&N, full exhaust, Wally 255, otherwise stock.

I whacked mine with a rubber mallet a few times. Then it wiggled off.

Yeah sometimes you just have to smack it around a little. It will slide off with some force.
