I was on ebay, and I found a turbo that came off of a jdm 4g63 (probably cyclone) for sale. The guy said that he wasnt sure what size turbo it was, but it had 40 some thousand original miles. He said that he thought it was a 14b, but he wasnt for sure.

Well, I got the turbo. It is in awesome condition. It looks brand new. NO SHAFT PLAY or nothing. I mean perfect.

NOW, my question! Can someone tell me what size turbo it is? It it a TDO5 and the numbers on the turbo is 49178-01400. I looked on my factory 14b and the numbers was 49178-01010. Could the turbo be a small 16g? I dont know a lot about so called jdm turbos, and I was wondering.

any idea what kinda car the 4g came out of? It could only be a 16g if it came off of a jdm evolution or it was replaced somewhere along the way. The evos had a 16g on them factory. If its off of a 1g its prolly a 14b

He said that it came off of an imported engine. He said that it was a jdm 4g63. I looks like a 14b, but if it came from japan then they didnt have the 14's over there did they. THanks!
