#7717, "Need help, wierd smoking issue"

Ok, I'm leavin the house yesturday morning,I drive about 4 miles, waiting for the warmup to hit 100% after it does I get on it, 19psi, I let off, hit it again, it only hits 14psi, then stays a 10psi, something is wrong, I pull over look everything over, It was a coupler that blew off, when it poped off it mashed it to my manifold melting it. So I limped it home, about 4 or 5 miles. After5 I weld & fix that problem, & get back on the road, & lay into it again, passing a slower car, I look back & it looks like a atomic smoke bomb is strapped to my car. so I let off, Anywho, The Car is now smoking a little under boost, ALOT when I let off the throttle, & Twice as much as that When I accel. again. MABE overreving the turbo??? due the the blown off piping???

What Can be causing this. would like to hear some options before I tear down the engine. Also catchcan had about 1 inch on muck in it, was installed 533 miles ago. HELP...... Any Ideas

Knowing what color the smoke is also helps.

'95 GSX - New motor/turbo going in...
'95 TSi AWD - For sale...buy me!
'03.5 MazdaSpeed Protege - Stock daily driver
'97 CBR 600 - Purple is a real man's color

Sorry for the delay, The color of the smoke is a darker blueish color, also the car now has a burnt smell. Also burns my eye's when I drive., it's getting very confusing.

Blue is oil. That burning smell may be what ever's left of your coupler burning off the manifold.

still have the smell, nothing on the manifold., also catchcan still has ALOT. think I have a piston ring issue. when i drain the can, it smells like raw fuel. mixed with oil, I am thinking rings, but then why would it not hardly smoke a WOT, but it will when I let off then get back in it again.

Valve seals? I have had them go out before and experienced similar problems
