so im sry for posting this but i searched(plus 1st day on this site). so i got a stock gst and i i know that im getting boost leak from my turbo but i have no idea how one would go about fixing that cuz im short on cash and this is my first time trying to fix a turbo.any ideas would really help.thx

By GS-T do you mean a turbo'd GS, or a factory turbo eclipse? That fact doesn't really matter, but this site is dedicated to 420a's.
Get the car to a shop nearby and have them perform a boostleak test if you're incapable of doing so yourself. They usually run about $25. When you ask questions be more specific. As the type of turbo you have can play into effect, as well as upgraded intercooler piping, etc...

He said stock GST, so that should answer that question. Anyways, do you understand what a boost leak is? It is just when air/boost escapes from the intake path via a blown intercooler pipe, bad TB seals, etc. Do you know where the boost leak is? It really should not cost much/anything to fix. Good luck with it though.

thx guys i figured it out. it was a hose tht fell off. so i just put in on ghetto for now till i get a new turbo(hopefully).oh yeah and to the guy who said that it was a 420a site i know it is but you guys are 10 times more helpful with this stuff.thx

If it was strictly a "420a site", we wouldn't have a section for 4g63 cars, would we? There are plenty of folks here to help you with just about ANY problem you could/will have with your car. Just make sure you seaarch first to keep Diceman happy...
