do anybody got an idea whats wrong if your check engine light is on, the engine wont go over 3000 rpm while in neutral and driving. a bit of white smoke comes out of the exaust when you rev the engine.

When did this problem start? Have you changed anything?? be more descriptive....

And exactly what DSM are we talking about and how old?

Sounds to me like potential major engine problems. ie. rings could be shot on the pistons allowing blow-by causing smoke, low compression, and the inability to rev above 3000 RPM's.

Need more detials if you want help man.

woah thats broad but it could be something as simple as the cam sensor.. if you want to start there and work your way to the bigger problems would probably be best lets cross our fingers that it isnt the rings... good luck
