yes it's mounted and yes it's capped off. i'm cutting some pipe for it hopefully tonight.

not sure of core size. i just know it's gigantic compared to stock! and it was cheap ass.

Where did it come from (other than "a friend")? Any ideas as to make/model? I traded a siezed 14b and 1G SMIC for a cherry SRT4 FMIC for the GVR4. Couldn't pass that up, imo.

And what's the benefit of the GVR4 first gear? I've got one of those in my tranny...

Well that doesn't make any sense to me, then. Unless you're running one of those 800whp sucker turbos, you're going to want the grunt off the line in an AWD car. Especially with the heavier GVR4. Maybe I want to get the 2G AWD first gear. Pffft. Maybe I'll just supercharge the bitch.
