Well, i recently installed the 16g turbo, FMIC, and electronic boost controller. also on the car is a walbro fuel pump. my question is this.... i dont have injectors yet, so what would be the max psi i could run safely? im running 15psi right now, could i go any higher or should i stay right there till i get injectors? and on the injector note...what size would be best? i dont need em big enough to run an insane amount of HP. just size enough to support 300-350hp. i already got the S-AFC ready to go in. thanks a lot for any help guys.

You should be able to run about 17-18psi with no problem with stock SMIC and upgraded pump, however upgraded injectors would just make it more safe. With higher boosts you'll have to watch out for heat soaking the stock SMIC. Do you have an EGT? If not get one...also pick up a jumptronix. Just watch your EGT's and 02's. If the probe is mounted in the manifold don't go over 1650F or 900C. Exceeding this temps will = DANGER. On the street I tend to run a little rich for cooling purposes. Keep my 02's around .92-.93. When you upgarde to a FMIC you will want RC550's before high boosting, and should be able to run about 18-19 on pump gas, (only with upgraded injectors.) Once again just watch your EGT's and 02's, they will determine how much boost you can run safely, no 2 cars are EXACTLY the same. 550's will be pleanty enough for a 16G. I wouldn't expect 350 to the wheels with a 16G unless you plan on porting your head, and or doing some cams. If not already done look into porting your 02 housing and exhuast manifold.......16G's tend to make low 300's on race gas.
