NOTE this doesn't happen all the time and 99% of the time i've driven this car its been on a 100+ mile trip. Maybe 20 of the miles i've put on this car have been city.

When i was driving over the pass this weekend it seemed to me that the auto tranny was downshifting pretty hard. Well, maybe not hard but it seemed more aggresive than any other auto i've driven before. Also, when I would slow down (coast) and the car would go around to 2k rpms or just above it would downshift to the next gear. Almost like it wanted to keep the rpms higher because it knew i wanted to acclerate out of the turn, but i know thats not the case. If this is normal its great but every auto i've driven has always just let the rpms pretty much drop while coasting then shifted after i gave it gas.

I've checked the fluid and it seemed fine but then agian i haven't played with autos too much, unlike the manual tranny i dropped 3 times in my GS

Just want some opinions.

Otherwise the car drives and pulls great.

mine does it to. Not all the time. But yeah, it does it.

Yeah my auto shifts really hard all the time. It's annoying... I think its related to the clutchpack being really worn.

It's 100x worse if you have overdrive on, and 1000x worse if you have overdrive on below 45mph.
