Did a search but didn't find anything...

I thought I saw a post on here once about roller bearing underhood shifter bushings.
Anyone heard of these or know where to get them?
I've seen the brass ones, anyone have or like these?
Does the Symbroski kit make much of difference?
These Mitsu-trannys are no where near as smooth as the NewVentureT350.

Ive got the brass ones, the ball bearing ones do the same thing, All theyre doing is taking up the "slop" that the rubber bushings have.

Honestly I didnt notice much difference, But I guess if it helps a little bit its worth the $25 emoji

Just in case anyone ever searches this topic:
The roller bearing inserts to replace the underhood shifter bushings are regular old skate bearings...Any skate shop has them for >$10.

Removing the old ones is easily done with a screw-driver, your finger, or push them against the linkage shafts. (One of mine was torn)
Clean up the inside of the end-links and the shafts with some fine sand paper or steel wool.
Grease the inside of the end-links, shafts, and the outside of the skate bearings. (Use something thick like wheel bearing grease)
Use a c-clamp to press them in flush.

Paired with the Symborski kit, the shifter is extremely solid emoji ...Thinking of going with the polyurethane shifter base bushings instead.

yeah i was thinking that too simply because it comes with the prothane bushing kit that I want. I love symborski but it is kinda "clanky". Please post your impressions if you do!

No, at least not a manual scoobie, but the GSX tranny feels like my 81 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 compared to the NVT350...lol.

Shifts really well now though emoji
