I know that stock 4G63's come with 440cc injectors. I just purchased an HRC S16G for my 4G63 project. Since I'm new to this motor I'm wondering if I have to up the 440's to 550's in order to support the demand of the S16G. I was running 330's on my NT with a S16G, so I thinking no, but every car is different.

you will max out the 450s easily with that turbo.
You need 550s at minimum.
If you have DSMlink or a chipped eprom then i'd go even bigger so you aren't buying a new set of injectors when you grow tired of the 16g and go bigger... which you will, we all do.

Tuning with a SAFC? Get 650's, thats really the highest you can go. There's not enough correction to lean out anything bigger with a "small" turbo. I had 550's feeding my GST when I had the E316G and at 21 psi, I was still fine. DSMLINK? Go BIG!

Depends on how much boost you want to run with that turbo. For an example, I run 440's on my RS-T, with the S16G turbo, and the Megasquirt for engine management, and I am about maxing the injectors out at 18 psi on 100 octane fuel. So depending on what your boost limit is going to be with that turbo, you may or may not need larger injectors. It's always wise to get larger ones though, that way you have the fuel there if you want to up the boost.

Well I haven't totally decided which injectors I am going to go with ... but I'll probably lean toward the bigger size so I don't have to replace them later. The fuel rail on the 4G seems like maybe it's a little easier to get to than the one on the 420A ... so that should be nice. Thanks for the input.
