Ok, I also have a 95 Talon TSi AWD that needs a cylinder head--I don't believe the block is cracked--Thank God! Now, I have been warned to not get this particular part from a salvage yard...I've been told that I should get it re-shaped. What is your all's opinion? What else should I watch for with this kind of problem, as I bought the car this way...

Pick one up at a salvage yard or on-line somewhere. Take it to a machine shop have them check all the specs, clean it, rebuild it and get a valve job at the same time. Drop it on the car and sell your other one for whatever it's worth.
