My ignition fuse blew 2x. I took it to an electric auto -tech and they said they cant figure out why it keeps blowing. When it blows the entire car dies. Any ideas ?

I am gonna go over all my wires and replace as many as i can. I hope its just a bad ground somewhere but I just dont know ?

How is your alternator doing? Have you jump started your car recently? Is the battery fairly new?

Well honestly Jeff I am not sure how old the battery is but I have never had to jump start the car for any reason ever. I am not sure how old the atlernator is either . You think it could be the problem ?

Well sometimes the voltage regulator inside the alternator can go bad, causing surges. That can be enough to blow fuses. I would have the alternator checked.
