Got my 3" cat-back today. It's the Extreme motorsports model. Looks EXACTLY like the Thermal R&D but has a 4" tip instead of 5. I got the one w/o the resonator so it'll be about as loud. I'll post some pics when I get home tonight. Looks to be very good quality. Nice thick welds. I hope it don't rain hard tomorrow so I can slap it on. How much of a difference should I expect? I did all free mods, intake, BC, IC piping... pretty much everything except the exaust and turbo. I just hope it doesn't make it feel SLOWER since I still have the tiny stock turbo. I wanted a 2.5" but figured what the hell. So much for leaving the 2G alone. hehe.

Exhaust showed me the single biggest gain in the butt dyno of any mod ive done. I did a full turbo back though, so that would probably explain it. I dont think you will be disappointed

I don't know about 30-40 on my car but it sure as hell feels MUCH faster mid-high rpms. Sounds good too. LOUD AS HELL when on the gas or decelerating. But just nice when cruising about 3K. I was in a rush to get it on and ended up having to take it to a shop to have the stock bolts cut off the cat. Therefore, no comparison pics. I'll try to get some pics of it installed tomorrow.
