ok i get this sort of howling noise when i let off the gas and it's louder in between about 3and 2 RPM sorta sounds like it's coming from the trans area and i just had that rebuilt and new clutch and ideas? not too worried about it cause the car is running good just wondering what it might be.

exaust leak?
When it's idleing, have someone put their foot or something over the exaust tip and listen for leaks by the flex section.
