#4261, "just installed boost gague and have a few questions?"

well i took it out for a spin and about the highest i got to was around 12 or 13 but it usually stayed around 10. i was just wondering if these were good readings.

If thats what you mean, yeah, fine for stock. I was totally lost on the good readings part. When the engine is off by the way, you are sitting either dead on or right around 0 depending on barometric pressure right?

Actually if he's at idle he should be reading a negative vacuum of 500-700mmHG (I think that's .5 bar, but its prob .05-.07) SOrry, don't use PSI very much, as my guages are metric...

he was talking about the engine being off, not idleing.
your readings seem fine. Mine sometimes hits 13 but usually 9-10.
Wait, is this a 1G or 2G. 1G should be around 9-10 and 2G should hit around 14 and fall slowly to 11-12.
