Just wondering cause I just got mine as you all know and it humms when rolling. It don't humm at a stop so I think it is the gears that are humming. Is that normal? If not I will take it to get serviced since it is under warranty for 2 years. Thanks!

dont know about any humming. mine is a 1g though. cant remember if yours is or not. anyways. maybe it has loud tires on it. my tires were loud on an older car i had and after i changed them out it was quiet again. you might take it in and have them look at it though. there is nothing wrong with preventative maintenance.

yeah, could very well just be "road noise". Try rotating the tires and see if it still does it.

is it a whine or a hum? Switch to Syncroshift tranny fluid or somethign cheaper ( I hear there are options that are cheaper and better) if its not the tires, its so easy to do, not very expensive, and will do nothign but good..

P.S. just dont' ask the dealer to do it, they'll tell you the mitsu stuff is the "only authorized fluid for the transmissions" but they really can't tell what you put in there...
