Found a cheap Talon ESI stick and non-turbo FWD (duh!)

only problem is it doesn't run. I don't know whats wrong with it and I haven't looked under the hood yet. I can probably get it for real cheap and the body seems to be in a pretty good condition.

What should I check first? Try cranking it and check spark/comp test? How would I tell if the ECU is bad?

Should I even bother buying it?

well, i wouldnt based on no turbo/awd. you already have a fwd car. if you are looking for a winter beater/daily driver, i say tsi or gsx. on the other hand, if you can get it dirt cheap and it something silly like bad ecu which can be fixed easily and moderatly cheap, get it to resell.
