Ok ive came across a 1990 GSX with a 93 talon front end conversion for $500. No more pop up head lights.

The car has hail damage on the roof only. He started to part it out, but i caught him before he took much off of it. The only parts its missing is the Exhuast mani and intermediate shaft. The car does run. The compression is pretty low. he did a compression test and got 125, 129, 114, and 118. The 14B turbo is in good shape. has a lot of life left in it. Its a 6 bolt motor with 3 bolt rear.

It has 16" 3000gt wheels on it with 2 new tires and 2 tires that have about 50% life left.

Now the part that concerns me a little. The radiator support has been cut in the driver side corner. I know he rear ended someone hence the front end conversion. Everything looks straight and the body works looks good in that area. But id have to replace the rad. support and im not sure what that will take. Ive read they are welded in place.

Heres a couple of pics of the car.

Just tell me if you think its worth it about how much it would it take to fix the problems above and rebuild the motor. I dont plan on rebuilding the motor at first. I just want to get it on the road then ill start buy parts to do full rebuild to up the performance a little.

It doesnt come with the exhuast or FMIC in the pics.

Save yourself the trouble and just look somewhere else. Cars that have front end damage suck to work with. I would know.

That car with a mad engine, no intercooler, exhaust, manifold, or intermediate shaft is worth less than $1000 for sure. Offer $750 or so if anything.

Stock rebuild? It would most likely be in the neighborhood of 1500 I'd guess with parts and labor. Somewhere in that neighborhood if you buy cheap parts and avoid alot of machine work. Could be super cheap if you do all the work yourself and get used parts. But it could be lots more if you get everything properly machined and checked. Tough question to ask though since I just spent way to much on my engine rebuld but with forged nonsense inside.

I have 6bolt rods for sale if you are interested. Great condition too.

It's running again shitheads.
