#3342, "Door swap question"

Got a quick question for you guys,
Im planning on replacing my passenger door and want to know what steps to go to do this. In the Hayes manual its very vague. My main question is the wiring, how do I remove it without cutting, or is that the only way.

Another question one of the local yards has a 92 talon door that is white (color I need). Im replacing a 90 white tsi door. Another question i had was on the side skirts of the 92 talon door, would it be worth my time to swap the sideskirts from 92 to 90. Or buy a 90-91 door and get it painted?

Thanks in advance

I hate posting crap like this because its not all that helpful, but in my experience Chilton's is a better manual than haynes, and the factory service manual is better than both. FSM can be found at

http://www.twingles.com/manualcd/dsmgift/

not sure about the specifics of the door swap beyond the fact that its a 2 person job and not very easy because you have to align the door to match the body... so get a buddy and a pizza before you start...

The door is the same, the trim pieces are just different. The trim from the 90 should snap into the 92 door.

about the 92's door trim, will the trim clips on the 92 door be located where the 90's trim is? I dont want to have holes in the door where the 90's door wont cover.

I got the door from the 92, and I also got some new sideskirts for it as well. The side skirts came off of a black 90 talon. I also got a new front fender. Hopefully I can get my uncle to paint em next week.

Quick question, were can I get that adhesive that they use to put on the side skirts. Or what have you guys used to do that?

thanks in advance
