Stock works fine until you upgrade the MAS. Then you can get something that adapts whatever you upgrade to, to the turbo. I have the Dejon Tool 2G MAS to 3" pipe.

This wont help you much but I have a 3" VPC style pipe with no BOV outlet or MAS adapter. It's for the MAFT setup.

But as Jeff said, stock is OK until you change MAS' or upgrade the turby.

It's running again shitheads.

what is the advantage of having a 2g MAS, does it allow you to run a bov, instead of the CBV

The 2G mas is just larger. It lets more air in and does a much better job of actually counting it emoji With larger turbos and increased airflow, the 1g MAS begins to drop counts and hurts performance big time. This is translated to fuel cut, which sucks.

Unless you have a 3" inlet on the turbo, it is a 2" pipe.

I have the same as Chrysler Kid. Dejon Tool 3' inch intake with 2g MAS and a ebay air filter. I thought it was the other way around heh, filter doesn't matter the pipe matters more. ??? Does it matter the size of the air filter cause my air filter is a little pussy one compared to someother 4g63 owners.

For the stock turbo, the intake doesn't really matter at all. You should stick with a K&N filter though. You don't want some Ebay special falling apart and destroying your MAS. K&N filters are $35 at any Advance Auto store.

<<what is the advantage of having a 2g MAS, does it allow you to run a bov, instead of the CBV>>
Just so you'll know, CBV(compressor bypass valve) is just another term for blow off valve. They are one in the same.

On the 2G, I have a RS Akimoto filter w/ adaptor plate bolted to the 2G MAS. Stock snorkel and Extreme MS IC piping with GREEDY type-s. (I also have an extra adaptor plate for sale if anyone wants to go get a K&N filter to mount without paying $100 for the FPIK)

The 1G is stock except for K&N and cut aircan. I hacked it all off except for a thin ring for the clamps to grab onto.
