First off, I already searched, and couldnt find an answer.

anyway, i got a mbc from the guy I bought my car from, it is a cheepo looking one( no brand names, just solid black and red) So i just installed it and went to test it out. I set it almost all the way out to start with, then I tightened it up as i went, but it never got any more boost?? The only thing i can think of is when i installed it, i got a T that was the right size for 2 sides, but the other side was just a little smaller, so i figured i could just zip tie it on and be fine. It really isnt that loose. So i guess my question is how tight does a hose have to be??

Thanks guys!

If it's a bleeder type, all the way out should be FULL boost.

it needs to be nice and secure, and pretty well airtight. What did you "T" into? I have the "T" into the line that goes from the BOV to the intake manifold, and that goes to the bottom part of my MBC. Then I have my Wastegate going to the Side part of my MBC. It works great this way. BTW, is all the way out really supposed to be full boost? I haven't played with mine much, but it's going to about 15psi right now... I like it.

that is exactly how i have mine set up. I was told to but the mbc as close to the turbo as possible so u get better response, so the boost controller is sitting about 5" from the wastegate acuator. I was looking around at auto zone to find a T and the one i found had 2 of the same size, and then one that was just a little smaller, so i figured it would be ok. im going to go back and see what i can find.
