Hey Jeff and anyone else who cares to answer..
I finally saved enough money to purchase 16g turbo. I am most likely getting the Evo III 16g turbo. Its numbers are better than the small and big 16g. Jeff, if you were to do it over again and buy a turbo (street turbo) wouldn't you purchase the evo 16g for $569 shipped. I've done searches on the dsmtalk and tuners and their are so many dumb post about the evo and outdated post about the turbo so I figured I post about it on here.
Another question I have is, what do you recommend I buy or do to not get boost creep on my 2g fwd? I have 3inch turbo back w/ test pipe. My concerns are with the 02 housing. I will just have it ported to 2.5 and will that be sufficient enough to not get boost creep. Do I need that damn 34mm flapper?
And.... for extra $75 I can get package #2 from Forced Perf. evo 16g ported for $649 shipped or dont worry about porting the turbo and spend $569? I thought the evo 16g was already opened up more than the small and big 16g so why port? Thanks for your advice. If your not sure, thats cool cause I can just ask forced performance when I order the turbo next week.

Sounds good to me. Good deal I love Foreced Performance.
As for the porting, that is exactly what helps fight off boost creep. Port the hell out of the turbine side of the turbo and install a larger wastegate flapper. You want to get as much air out of the wastegate hole as possible to fend off boost creep.

I think green will take care of that, Im switching with green because my big 16g isn't enough on the top end. (yeah my girl's cousins beat me with his 20g dsm.)
