i bought a 14b about a week ago but now i have come across a 17c turbo with a 7cm housing for $200. it needs to have the wastegate tig welded onto it but thats about its only problem. looking at flow charts it flows like a super 16g at 550cfm. also will it still bolt up to the 2g manifold and will i have to fabricate intercooler piping?


also anybody wanna buy a ported 14b for $100 + ship

I would stick with the 14b honestly. Ive heard the 17c really looses steam after around 15psi. I think its off a GM Syclone or something like that

thats what i read, that it runs out of steam around 15psi. but it also has 370 peak hp. and it flows like the super 16g (at 15 psi atleast) im pretty sure its off a cyclone but the guy put a 7cm tdo5 housing on it so it bolts to the dsm manifold. im still debating it. but $200 aint bad for a turbo that flows 550cfm
