I am dumping to the atmosphere but my question is will I be doing damage to my car by doing this.....sounds hellz loud which is sooo sweet.

I have the little rubber stub blocked by a 35mm film cap but it doesnt stay too well, and other quick fixes for this to block it up?

MAJOR TIA

My 2gnt will forever be missed.....

If you aren't running a VPC or GM MAF, stop immediately and put the recirculation tube back on.

There are a bunch of threads why this is bad whic h can be searched. Do not vent.

It's running again shitheads.

Didn't we just go over this? *sigh*

Venting the BOV to the atmosphere will not damage your engine, but it will make it run like shit and possibly cause idle issues. You will also be wasting more gas than needed, cause a stumble and sometimes stall when shifting, and be laughed at by any DSMer who knows anything about his or her car.

The Type-S BOV will work slightly better vented than the stock BOV, but it really should be routed back into the intake.

But no, it will not damage your car.
