I am running with that so far.. Still have to tune with my FMIC. But w/ the sidemount I am just being safe with 13psi from the Evo 16g wastegate. Thats the max the Evo 16g does without a boost controller.

Or are you asking whats the max you can run with 550cc and 255fp and a Evo 16g. Well that can be anywhere up to 24psi as long as you have the supporting mods.

Its pulls hard. Make sure you get a ported 02 housing or any sort of upgrade for that and it will make a major difference in spool up time. My spools super fast. Not too fast where I can't get traction but fast so I am not waiting.

you should log your car and see what is safe to run. What you are asking for it seems are theoretical numbers and that isn't a good idea.

Exactly. All cars are diffrent. Because Bigbald can run 24psi on his setup doesnt mean you can and vise versa

ok sorry for the lack of info. before i get the turbo i plan to have UICP w/ type S BOV, N1 catback, 255 walbro fuel pump, some form of boost control, EGT and o2 meters, and i plan on getting very soon after if not before a DP and EVO o2 housing, 550cc's, and front mount intercooler. so how exactly do you do the dataloging to find out what PSI you can run?

pick a number from 13-24. Lean out till you knock or EGT's skyrocket and then richen it up a tad. emoji

Try to get the 660's at least, 550's I think the most you can boost with that is 18psi just to be on the safe side.

The big 16g in the Evo 8 runs ~20-22psi no problem with the stock 550's. Anymore boost than that is just hot air on a 16g.

I heard that on a walboro 250 an SAFC wasn't strong enough to lean out 660's on a 16g?

Boost guage and boost control should be the first mods you do.

If you are getting a FMIC, then you'll have either custom IC piping or kit piping, so getting a UICP right now might be a waste of cash if you have the FMIC on the way. What do you mean by 02 meter though? SAFC to monitor 02s?

Get new 7 series (colder) plugs as well as upgraded wires.

It's running again shitheads.
