If I get a turbo back exhaust system, can I still keep the stock 1g dual exhaust tips? =P I just hate those big ole' rocket booster ones. They look tacky.

im looking into a magnaflow muffler with 2 outlets, similar to the stock one. Dont know how much performance you will lose by not having a 100% straight thru muffler, but i know theres some out there that look kinda stock. As of now i have a 2.5 downpipe, testpipe and piping to the rear, but no muffler. Im still deciding which muffler to get, chance are im going w/ that magnaflow...

At least upgrade the muffler. The best exhaust is a straight-thru.

theres an eclipse in Sport Compact Car under the "sleeper issue" (its on the cover next to a vette about to street race.......

its a GSX with 3'' turboback I think, but he kinda custom made the muffler ends a little bit to resemble stock---pretty trick IMO...they're the same 2 tubes out, except they're both like 2.5"....

Best bet is to chop off the 3" muffler's tip, then chop and weld on a dual tip. Cut into the 2-1 junction just a little to open up flow.
Ractive makes extremely close to stock looking 3" dual tips, and RRE carries another dual-tip that is nice.

Ractive Part# T-564
RRE $40

Or there's always the solution we made for Jamesman-

how do you chop a 3" straight through muffler? My N-1 has like a 40 foot tip, its obnoxious but there's no way to keep the muffler I think w/o keeping the tip b/c of its size
