It's pretty detailed ad and the guy is somewhat local. I am going to call him tomorrow and see what the deal is.

If I do buy it I wont pay over 800 bucks.

How is it a detailed ad? The pictures are blurry and you can't even see all the sides of the car or the interior. All he says is the engine needs to be rebuilt because it was rebuilt wrong. Basically there is absolutely nothing to go on in that ad.

You really want to spend $800 for a FWD car with a bad engine? I would keep looking.

Jeff your right about the ad, it is pretty shitty. And the more I think about it, the more I dont want that car. For me to get it, the price would probably have to be around 400-500.

I have around 1200 to spend on my 1g, but a friend has a conquest tsi sitting in his backyard that he wants to get rid of for 400 bucks. So I am kind of torn on what to buy.

Anyone have any experience with starquests?
