#10177, "Fuel: Check Spark: Check Purring like a kitten: ?"
A friend of mine has a 91 GSX and it has strong spark, fuel at the rail but it won't start. It just turns over and over and won't even hit like it wants to start. Oh and no CEL's. If anyone could give me some ideas to help him out it will be greatly appreciated.

I did some searching last night and had just about decided it was gonna be the caps. And it just so happens JefffGS was one the guys I really wanted to reply. Thanks for all replies though. By sniff test do you mean sniff the ECU to see if it smells like hot or burnt electronics?

bad/leaky ECU caps smell like dead fish.

didn't I say that already? Jeff undoubtedly has the most 4G63 knowledge on this board but, some of us do have SOME experience.
