#10142, "What do you suggest doing?"

my T-25 oil seal is leaking and i want to replace instead of rebuild. i already have the super 16g from the 420a kit and i have $7500 dollars to payback for the car and insurance cost...so should i:

1. sell the s16g and buy another t-25 for now?
2. replace t-25 with s16g and port manifold and install kit?
3. sell the s16g and replace with evo b16g with evo manifold and install kit?

the evo setup can get into 12's right?(with supporting mods, of course) or will the s16g be better for later on?

I need a new turbo NOW otherwise i wouldn't be even thinking of upgrading the turbo yet becuase i have few mods.

and no, i don't want anything bigger, because like i said-few mods, not much cash.

TIA

door #3.
EVOIII is good for over 300hp and 11's emoji
It's cheap too.
All's you'll need to support it is a fuel pump, injectors and safc.
I'm still useing my unported 2G manifold.
You'll also need the 2G install kit. I have the piping left over so that just leaves you with the turbo/o2 gasket and oil feed line.
So, if you play it right and check the trader, you're talking about $1100-1200 tops for everything.
I wouldn't even bother with the s16G. The EVOIII will out flow it and is less money. Wait, are you talking about SMALL 16G or SUPER 16G? Fuck it, just go with the EVOIII. I'm happy with it...

the super16g wont bolt to the stock downpipe. so you need to sell it. i think you should upgrade while you have the chance. or i have a t25 with 17psi actuator you can buy form me for $90 plus shipping. for $110 plus shipping i will even port the exhaust housing

If you're tight for cash, sell the small 16g for a 14b and get the car ready for a more "serious" turbo by slowing building up supporting mods

14b has gone into the 11's and can be had for super cheap. Get that if you can and like Vandy said, save up for another turbo and supporting mods.

EVO16g is a nice option too.

It's running again shitheads.

What's the point of a T-25 with a 17psi actuator?

1. The T-25 can barely hold 10psi, let alone 17.

2. You can use a 1psi actuator and a $40 MBC to get 17psi.

If I were you I would sell the super16 and get an Evo16g. That is just me though.
