Question: on a stock 4g63 t-25 what setting is best for the greddy type-s??? I have it set all the way to hard at this time. Need your input from experience. Thank you.

All the way hard is going to give you MASSIVE compressor surge. The way to set it correctly is to make it completly soft, take off the return tube to the intake, start car and slowly tighten till it stops leaking. Then give it a few extra turns. If it surges, back off a little.

ALso, you may wish to put a little dab of RTV around the threads of the screw to seal it and keep it from backing off, which it eventually may do. Also, be VERY careful tightening it, the threads strip out like butter.

Yes, if you tighten the lock nut too much, it will rip the adjustment screw right out of the BOV.

From RRE's experience, the factory setting (from Greddy) is wheer you leave it at. Unless you bought it used.
Like other's said, be careful of the thread. Easily stripped. And becareful when closing the hood. make sure the adjustment screw doesn't come in contact with the hood.
Tune to where the valve opens completely, and no compressor surge between gear changes, and sudden throttle lift off. It is normal to get SLIGHT (and I emphasize slight) surge here and there.

Thank you very much guys/gals for helping me out - I've been everywhere trying to find answers... I even called Greddy and they were completely rude as if I was some kind of nuisance for some reason. Anyways Im doing your advice as we speak and thanks again!
