I search for BOV and recirculation kit, but I really didnt come up with nothing. So, I figured that I would just ask. Ok, does anyone make anything to let me use a BOV that will vent in the atmosphere? I read about a HKS SSQ and they talked about a recirculation kit. What is that? I looked at a Greddy type-S today. For those of you that have them are they very loud at all? Thanks guys for the help!

Spend 5 minutes searching for info on venting the BOV. Venting a BOV on a stck MAS setup means you are losing air out of the system that has already been counted by the MAS sensor. The ECU exptrapolates that reading and determines the fuel to put in for that air level. When you vent, you lose some metered air, and you run PIG rich when the throttle plate closes. Poor performance, and even stalling between shifts will result. Basically that is the number 1 taboo in all of DSM'ing, and also is by far the most common question here in the 1g/4g section. Please please please research as much as you can before asking questions.
Here is the short short version: Do not do it. If you do it, every 4g'er here will hunt you down.
Please promise us all that you will spend the next month doing nothing but reading before you buy any mods. It's all new info to you, so please familiarize yourself with the car in detail before doing anything. You'll save yourself so many headaches and so much money if you know what you are doing before you start just spending money.
Also, to answer part 2 of your question, I have a Greddy Type-S. It's a great BOV and I have it vented because I have an aftermarket MAF setup that goes after the BOV (the MAF and MAF Translator will run you about $450 in total, which for starting out is not worth the cost. Just stick with the stock MAS and recirculate the BOV). This is a mod I did first and foremost to upgrade the limit of air that my MAF can read without being outflowed. That is the absoute primary reason. A secondary effect was I was able to vent my BOV and simplify my piping by not having to recirculate a tube into the system. How loud your PSHSHSHHSH is should be last on the list of why you do a mod.
