Well, I looked at a 1gen Gst today and was wondering what you guys would think of it. Here is the ad.

I put a lot of work into this thing, i am only looking for a fraction of what i put in it. - New Rebuilt Engine - New 1g Pistons - New 2g Rods - Removed balance and shafts - Uprgaded turbo to Small 16 g - Brand New Head - Seals - All New belts - New Clutch - New Clutch Slave Cyl. - 99 Gst wheels - Clean interior w/ all acce. working even A/C and orig. CD player Only Needs a new pait job Asking $4000 obo
Body need work as stated. He said he will fix the body and paint for an extra $400. ANd he also said that he would make a warranty for 1year that the engine will not break. What do ya think?TIA

why would they use 2g rods on a 6bolt block (unless it was swapped with a 7 bolt)... That wouldnt even work would it. I think they have it backwards and meant 2g pistons on 1g rods. dunno...
Edit: NADA value on the car is about 2800 to 3500 depending on condition and mileage. KBB was 2900 with 50,000 miles and good condition.

Its all rebuilt. New engine, transmission, clutch. He is also putting new kyb gr-2 shocks with some sportlines, new motor mounts, and new rotors and pads. The interior was clean. Still a little high?

Thats pretty expensive considering I was trying to sell my 91 AWD talon that had very nice paint and body, clean interior, stout engine and runs 11's and couldn't get 5000, I highly doubt 4k for a " stock " FWD , id say 2200-2500 , 3000 at the most.f
