That, however, did not stop the veteran 2GNT or SoVA Crews from drinking their asses off!! It will stop them from running the track today. Summit Race Park has officially cancelled the events for today to be held at a later date.

Wow, that sucks you guys got rained out. Still wish I was there, though! Hopefully Jenni and I will both make it next year with or without a DSM. You guys better be taking good care of her!

Maybe so, but where do you think they got the heat to dry the track last year? If I wasn't there from Phoenix, that thing would have broken down.
I always get a kick out of remembering us all hanging out in the back of the HRC trailer in the rain back in 05. When Bill was riding that quad around and all that. I know I've got that shocker picture on my computer somewhere. Haha.
And get this, Stanley. I've got 95TSi doors and skirts now so maybe I'LL lose a door cap on the way to the SO in 08.
Well the rain almost worked out for me today. After the first two sessions this morning I was fastest in class and 3rd fastest overall. Then it stopped raining. The first afternoon session was totally dry (put the slicks back on) and was 3rd fastest in class. So all of the times from that session trumped the morning session times and as luck would have it the last session of the day was wet as well. Fuck. So 3rd place today, I guess it could have been worse. When it was raining though, they couldn't touch me and the car was pure magic.
It was awesome seeing eveyone this weekend, sorry we weren't around longer/later - it was a real ass kicker this weekend.
